Medical densitometer
Research densitometer DENISPurposeThe main goal of the development is to create a domestic diagnostic device that allows assessing the mass of bone tissue around implants, in particular joint endoprostheses, in the preoperative and postoperative periods. The direct functional significance of the product is the non-invasive measurement of bone mineral density around the endoprosthesis while simultaneously obtaining an image of the skeletal region under study. In addition, this device can be used for outpatient diagnosis of osteoporosis. The radiation dose does not exceed 1 mR. Degree of novelty and technical levelSimilar products are not produced in Russia. Several devices for similar purposes are produced abroad, but they have worse or similar characteristics at a very high price. The economic efficiency of using this product is due to the fact that the main components are produced in Russia; software and equipment for processing the received data are our own development; Assembly and adjustment of the device are carried out using domestic equipment. Implementation stagesCurrently, a prototype of the device has been manufactured and clinical trials have been carried out at the N.N. Priorov Central Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics (CITOMZRF) |
